1. Select the delivery term deliberately
EXW, FOB, CIF and other agreed arrangements allocate freight, insurance, customs and delivery responsibilities differently.
2. Confirm the document list before production
Commercial invoice, packing list, origin, health or veterinary evidence and destination-specific files may affect formula, facility and timing.
3. Plan booking and loading around the product
Temperature, moisture, container condition, carton strength, palletisation, loading pattern and seal control require product-specific attention.
4. Maintain a documented handover
Shipment milestones, original documents, clearance information, arrival status and claims procedures should have named owners and response times.
